With a lot of cheering and clapping of hands, the MCC Nursery and Primary School students welcomed the newcomers on 28th June 2018. The programme started auspiciously with Bible reading and prayer.

The event was presided over by our dear correspondent, Mr.G.J.Manohar who gave the newcomers, as well as the old students, an inspiring speech.

Freshers day would not be complete without a “Down Memory Lane” chapter. So we invited our old student, Master David Alwin, who had been awarded the Best Out Going Student Award for the year 2017-18, to talk to the new students about his fond memories of his primary school days.

A “friend” from std V, Master Kamalesh, gave a small encouraging speech to make the freshers feel ‘at home’ in the school environment.

The day was all about comradeship and solidarity to be established between the students and the newcomers. The freshers loved their “smiley” cards and colourful roses which they received from the school as a token of friendship.
