1. Students are admitted only in L.K.G. To VI classes.
Applications for admission to
1. L.K.G and VI std. are available in December every year
2. Applications will be available at the school office or can be downloaded from the website.
The Procedure for admission is as follows :-
Step 1 : Contact school office or download the application form
Step 2 : Complete the form and send it to the school office
Step 3 : (Optional) Meet the headmaster to seek a place in the hostel
For admission into L.K.G. the child should have completed THREE years of age.

3. Transfer Certificate
Students seeking admission in SIXTH standard should produce Transfer Certificate. Transfer certificate issued by the CBSE school must be countersigned by the Regional Officer, Central Board, West Mugappair, Near Sri Devi Hospital and evaluated by the District Educational Officer, Dr. Ambedkhar Govt. Hr. Sec. School, 1st Floor, Egmore, Chennai - 08. Parents of CBSE students are requested to get the evaluation form from the school office. Transfer Certificate issued by the Matriculation School must be countersigned by the Inspector of Matriculation School at Dr. Ambedkhar Govt. Hr. Sec. School, 1st Floor, Egmore, Chennai - 08.
Transfer Certificate issued by the Nursery & Primary Schools and Anglo Indian Schools must be countersigned by the AEO, DPI Campus, College Road, Chennai - 06.
Transfer Certificate issued by the other District Schools must be countersigned by the respective educational authority in their District.
Transfer Certificate issued by the other state school must be countersigned by the respective educational authority and evaluated by the District Educational Officer, Egmore, Chennai - 08. Evaluation form can be had from the school office.
An applicant with a disability who otherwise fulfills the school’s admissions criteria may discuss with the school reasonable adjustments which may be necessary to enable him to attend.
